We have filled in each date on the calendar with events you can see for yourself! Planetary conjunctions, lunar eclipses, Moon occultations, meteor showers, and more! If we marked it down, rest assured it's an event you can try to see for yourself - no hype required.
 
Some events, such as newly-discovered comets and aurorae, are unpredictable and will not be included on this calendar. Follow Sidewalk Science Center on social media to stay up-to-date on new astronomical discoveries and news.
 
Contact SSC prior to each event to learn more and find out if we will have telescopes out those dates to view the event.*
 
*Please note that some events take place early in the morning or after midnight, and SSC will not have sessions for those except by special request for paying clients. Our public sessions are typically held between the hours of 5pm - 11pm.
