Marvel at the Total Solar Eclipse of April 8th, 2024. Sidewalk Science Center traveled to Batesville, Indiana to help host the Batesville Blackout Bash and provide views of the eclipse through our telescopes.
 
This image was taken by Alex Martin through our StarSense Explorer 8" Dobsonian telescope approximately 30 seconds into Totality. The pink prominences rising off the Sun were visible to the naked eye, and the ring of light around the Moon filled onlookers with awe.
