Service Description
10% OFF WHEN YOU PAY A 50% DEPOSIT BY OCTOBER 1, 2024 Our most popular program! Sidewalk Astronomers will come to your organization, set up telescopes, and take your guests and visitors on a tour of the cosmos. If space allows, we will set up our "dynamic display" of the solar system, as well as light-up globes of the Moon and Mars for attendees to explore. Base cost applies to 50 people in attendance. Only 1 educator will attend with 1-2 telescopes if expected attendance is lower than 20. DAYTIME ASTRONOMY: our telescopes are outfitted with solar-safe filters that allow you to view the Sun, seeing sunspots and other features. Part of the program should be conducted indoors if outside temperatures are not conducive to a comfortable program. Free rescheduling due to inclement weather up to one calendar year. Night Program: $225.00 Day Program: $175.00 Add 1 hour: +$75.00 50% minimum deposit required. Additional charges for greater than 50 people in attendance in order to provide more educators and telescopes for the event and ensure a smooth, consistent flow.
Cancellation Policy
Booking deposits are nonrefundable. If you cancel or reschedule your event less than 7 days before your event, you will be charged a $25.00 fee. If our educators reach out to change the date due to special circumstances (i.e. weather) you will not be charged any extra fee. In the event of inclement weather, our educators will contact you to discuss and reschedule the event free of charge. No shows are not refundable in any amount, and your event will be deprioritized from our schedule until we can fit you in.
