Service Description
Sidewalk Science Center's Executive Director, Alex Martin, will come to your organization and present a prepared lecture. He has spoken at local museums, national science communication conferences, and international conferences sharing how to better provide educational programming. LECTURE 1: "Sidewalk Science Center: Creating Educational Experiences in Public Spaces" LECTURE 2: "Where Science Meets Art: Using Science-fiction as a Method of Science Communication" LECTURE 3: "Human Connection: The Key Element of Education" OPTIONAL: lecture 1 will include a one-hour program of Sidewalk Science Center on-site for no extra charge. Any audience size. Best for museum programming, college speaking events, networking and workshop events, and conference events. Cancellation Policy
Booking deposits are nonrefundable. If you cancel or reschedule your event less than 7 days before your event, you will be charged a $25.00 fee. If our educators reach out to change the date due to special circumstances (i.e. weather) you will not be charged any extra fee. In the event of inclement weather, our educators will contact you to discuss and reschedule the event free of charge. No shows are not refundable in any amount, and your event will be deprioritized from our schedule until we can fit you in.
